Since House R's have been in charge, they've had an abysmal record on animal welfare and their first move after the recess was to remove all gray wolves from protection under the Endangered Species Act. Scaling back protections now is not only wrong, it has no basis in science.
But, the days of GOP control of the House are numbered. When Dems take back control, I will fight to put an end to the GOP putting politics over facts. When it comes to the environment & protecting endangered species, science—not mindless politics—should rule the day.
Tell that to the farmers and ranchers who deal with dead livestock because of them. Wait, it wont be long before a human becomes a victim. Just a matter of time...
Tell that to all the ranchers in eastern Oregon (yes...your state) whose livestock herds are being decimated by these protected wolf packs. Just say’in.

How would you know what kind of impact wolves have on ranchers in the real Oregon. Not Portland (mini Cali) but the real Oregon. You have no idea probably if you heard one howl at night you'd go running for your mama. Let the people who understand the problem deal with it.
