If the Chinese were able to make a profit on our waste products, why can't we create the industry to do the job? All they really need to do is keep the out-of-pocket costs low. We must consider the cost to the environment in the final cost/benefit analysis. Breaking even? Better!

Respectfully, isn’t recycling a less sustainable measure than consuming less in more sustainable ways? Filling a growler instead of buying a six-pack, for ex. Yes to ending harmful tariff war. But shipping our waste plastic to China? Help me understand how that works.
