    Just 1 comment on old-school manners: They worked both ways. When a lady wasn't supposed to swear, a gentleman NEVER mentioned it if she slipped! Not too many "gentlemen" in Congress, either, I guess!

    General Barry McCaffrey (Ret) just said on MSNBC that using DoD funds to build the wall would be illegal (a declaration of a National Emergency would not change that). Senator Reed of the Armed Services Committee said the same thing a bit earlier.
