    If you live in Silver Lake, Echo Park, Hollywood, or Atwater, you should know that on Friday your City Councilman, , cast the deciding vote to continue evictions of renters during the coronavirus quarantine. Remember this the next time he asks for your vote.

    What Councilmember O’Farrell is trying not to say is that he voted against a ban on all evictions until the crisis ends. And that that motion failed by one vote. His vote.

    Hollywood, your success is possible only because these people keep your homes. You owe them. Tighten your belt, and pay your people.

    New from me & : Upper and middle class people are letting go of their undocumented nannies and house cleaners because of Covid-19. Without access to a safety net, some are already running out of food and wondering how they are going to make rent.
