One of the most demoralizing parts of all this was me putting my faith in Rosenstein/Mueller to do the right thing. History called for them, and they wilted.

Mueller did not wilt. He laid out a strong case of obstruction and abuse of power. He's not an Independent counsel bit rather SC and thus under the rules of DOJ. He's using contingency plans as we speak. He did his best. Rosenstein on the other hand...yeah agree 100%.

DOJ regs are not the law of the land. Even granting that, how did he get duped by Manafort into believing Paul would crack? Why come out against buzzfeed’s reporting but never address Trump’s ridiculous falsehoods re:SC investigation? How does he stay quiet as Barr gaslights us?

Mueller knows what he's doing, trust his strategy. He didn't finish, he passed the torch in what was undoubtedly a carefully executed contingency plan. As for Manafort, none of us know what transpired behind closed doors.

See the 'be really methodical and lawyerly' crowd doesn't get intuitively what those of us calling for immediate impeachment understand. Time is not on our side. He will break people and norms and institutions. So anyone that advises over-caution needs to re-calibrate.

You can't ignore the court stacking and count on the courts to do good after YEARS of corruption. You can't count on dem voters to save us after years of unchecked propaganda.
