Multiple friends of mine that I made through my human rights work cataloguing Israeli atrocities against Palestinians, when they discovered I was converting, demanded I explain why I was supporting Israel now & never spoke to me again.

Honestly I can’t even count how many times I’ve told someone, anyone, in a conversation not about Israel “hey that’s antisemitic” to be told “yeah but what Israel does is so much worse than what I just said, stop whining”

If you think Jews aren’t randomly confronted about Israel is the most ridiculous contexts, you haven’t been speaking to Jews much

I get constantly asked about my views on Israel by my evangelical mother, who claims that she is "fulfilling Judaism" because she went to Israel on a church trip and I have not gone to Israel at all, but she claims she can't be antisemitic at all because "she loves Israel".

And literally, she finds a way to do this almost every conversation, and was worse around things like Passover (and yes, they were doing "church seders" ... and ignoring every Jewish person that said it was offensive, unless the person already was messianic.)
