The only 100% consistently good element of parenting is providing warmth and acceptance. Your family can have any shape, culture, or dynamic as long as the child feels loved and wanted.

Reading to/listening to your kid read on the daily is also pretty dang good. Get those ideas, sentence structures, and bonding into that little goblin early and often.
