Senior DOJ official says DOJ "shocked" to see govt filing last night recommend 7-9 years for Roger Stone. Says it's "extreme and excessive and disproportionate," wasn't what briefed to dept. DOJ will clarify its position later today. Jury convicted Stone in Nov on all 7 counts.
