Calling something immutable is not an argument. And I'm pretty sure I've considered and rejected all of the arguments in favor of that assertion. Though I'm always open to hearing new ones.

I’m almost through The Age of Entitlement. It is an important read. These things have been talked about, but this is the first time I’m seeing someof these arguments in a well laid out academic book.

Not just Russell. Aldous Huxley was making similar warnings. Cf his essays collected and republished in "The Hidden Huxley".
