We have a product today that customers are willing to pay for thanks to a few customers who said no to our MVP. They also helped us slim down from a software with hardware to 100% hardware.

I've had one in freelancing days. He'd call me and scream at me everytime he wrote a check. He was an early customer so I didn't know what was going on- I thought I was screwed. Eventually, I cut him off. His local court records were wild with bankruptcies and judgments.
