I feel like those "I don't know who needs to hear this but" posts are really saying "I really need someone to say this to me. So... I don't know who needs to hear this but you are crushing it and, despite not getting a haircut in 3mo, you look hot and not a day over 35

The highs and lows of startup life are a challenge to navigate. There are no "normal" days, just an onslaught of chaos we are constantly trying to find opportunity within. BUT... the highs feel really good when you get them. Today's been a good day 😊

Startup founders: Sales SPAM: Hi! I've been observing <company>'s growth for some time now with avid interest. Your work so far in <copied mission> is inspiring and makes me want to name my first born after you Are you struggling with your software dev costs? We can help...
Just so I'm clear, before fundraising, pre-seed founders are expected to have: - A large community - A proven concept and fully functioning product - $50k MRR - Burn rate of <$5.00 - A strong network of high worth individuals Did I get that right? Missing anything? 🤦🏾‍♂️

In our home, the weekends are for family. Those with us and those we’ve lost. It’s not about forcing awkward conversations (2 and 4yo don’t care to hear about great-grandparents). It’s more reminding ourselves what life was like with them, and trying to replicate it for our kids

So, for 2023 we are... Going to help every single person out there looking to: 1. Celebrate someone who has died 2. Secure the community that person built 3. Give and receive community grief support 4. Secure their person's legacy, forever 2/3

The VC slowdown is real But 400+ brave VCs still invested over $1M in seed deals last month If you're raising soon, maybe start with them? To help, I made a list of 418 investors who led round over $1M If you want it 1. Comment "Nov Leads" 2. RT + Follow so I can DM it

I'm constantly impressed by people who make something out of nothing. No, not entrepreneurs... I'm talking about the person in front of me at Starbucks who spent 20min going on about how the stevia she put in her coffee didn't taste the same as it normally does...

We’re out here working to help grieving communities remember their people forever. That’s it We’re not a “hype” business. Just 1 based on the simple idea that every person deserves an equal chance to be remembered From what I’m seeing in the news, simple seems like a good thing

I really mean that. Do a simple search for memorial products on Etsy or Google and prove me wrong. So, we're working with creatives of all types to come up with new, modern ways to carry our person. We started with our app, now with streetwear-inspired customizable products..

People need to be remembered forever. Our stories matter. They do for communities to grieve through, and for future generations to learn through. Until now, the solutions to keeping your person's memory alive have been total garbage.

Do all founders keep a “I’ll show them…” list to keep track of the people who doubted you? Because I’m going to show those 2 animals who live in my house that I should not, in fact, be driving an excavator instead I don’t care if they’re 2 and 4yo. I don’t deserve this sh**

Apparently “dogknappings” are on the rise. Like, people breaking into your home to steal your dog. Another option: break (walk?) into a dog shelter, steal (adopt?) a dog, take it home, show it love and affection, and raise it as your own. Because it will be.

5. Because we deeply fucking care about making people’s lives better. I care about it. We are each going to face 25 - 36 losses in our lifetimes. The compounding effect of this struggle leaves us all operating at a deficit. It’s time for things to change.
