Hello, @TeamYouTube I was wondering I would still get paid for the views I got before my channel was monetized?

Thanks for reaching out. The new criteria has changed to 4000 watch hours and 1000 lifetime subs. You can check your AdSense account balance for more info. Hope it helps.

well that didnt answer the qusion, that was more like a copy and paste. its a very simply thing to answer, its a yes or no. will the money that was there before the persons yt account went from monetised to demotnised, will they still get that money or do they start from scratch

I agree to some sense, but unfortunately I've learnt the hard way, getting my channel demonetized with no emails or strikes, it's not the employees fault. They are trained, and paid to copy and paste messages that best fit the criteria users are asking.

"that best fit the criteria users are asking." nobody asked for this criteria, youtube did this& they keep adjusting the criteria to fit their own needs. when it first started, even before the deadline, you didnt need 1,000 views to have a manual review and then suddenly you did

Yep. Trust me, I don't agree with this either. I have a 2.7M subscribed channel and was demonetized with no strikes, or emails. Just "You're channel is misleading" and have to wait 30 days. It sucks. But it's the ugly system we have to deal with, till they sort out a good one! :)
