Hello, @TeamYouTube I was wondering I would still get paid for the views I got before my channel was monetized?

Thanks for reaching out. The new criteria has changed to 4000 watch hours and 1000 lifetime subs. You can check your AdSense account balance for more info. Hope it helps.

well that didnt answer the qusion, that was more like a copy and paste. its a very simply thing to answer, its a yes or no. will the money that was there before the persons yt account went from monetised to demotnised, will they still get that money or do they start from scratch

I agree to some sense, but unfortunately I've learnt the hard way, getting my channel demonetized with no emails or strikes, it's not the employees fault. They are trained, and paid to copy and paste messages that best fit the criteria users are asking.

That being said, it is hard to run a platform as big as YouTube, as there's so many different needs. It'd be super awesome if they had a separate channel for people with over 1,000,000 subscribers but unfortunately they haven't implemented such a thing at thing time.
