Don't disagree. Women and POC are entirely the working class but HOLY FUCK look at that drop off for HRC. We have to reckon with men, white and black, this election season. I am worried about all men. Misogyny is so real.

Hillary won more black men than Bill.

Are we equating the 90s with today?
-
Obama's drop off with black men from 08 to 12 was sharper.

I hit this point a *lot* but it still astounds me that folks expected HRC to do as well w. black voters as Obama. He is an obvious outlier among the white nominees. Gore, Kerry, and Hillary are basically statistical ties. We showed up.
-
Even with clear suppression attempts, we showed up. But remember election day 2012: There were lines around the block to vote with old black ladies holding themselves up on walkers. That was for Barack.
-
Black women showed up and showed out for Hilary. Idk why we keep omitting that. We actually came out in larger number for her that Barak in 2012. Stop it.

“Working class” has become a dog whistle for middle class white. It’s why I can’t with Bernie & the bros. Everything they want is just “more for white people.”

Black median income DROPPED last year. Trump lowered unemployment from 7.8 to 5.9 Clinton lowered it from 14.1 to a low to 7.0 under him... cut in half Obama lowered it from a high of 16.8 to 7.8... cut in half. Numbers don't lie... but Gop sure as hell does.
