That's what we want to do, but Nanite is one extra level because LOD is computed per piece itself.
That's more than we want to implement, we want to keep the LOD at object level for simplicity.

hmm I'm curious, do you think 3D tiles could be useful for such? It's typically used for large terrain scans, but why not any sort of large scenes? I also saw there's a webinar tomorrow covering it
