Are these still on their records as “charged”(not convicted)? Their entire records should be cleared. With all the background checks these days, this matters.pic.twitter.com/b6KXOkfDKR

That's an awesome icebreaker in an interview! "Ever charged with a felony?" "This one time in Iowa... Yeah. I'm that guy. "

That and could even prevent getting a foot in the door/interview if a background check is done Initially. Having this charge is a big deal. Needs to be cleared/expunged. Thinking there are other things that are affected too.

Exactly, there will be repricussions for the rest of our lives over this. The obvious, like trouble with getting hired again, but also things we don't know to expect. Volunteer work, clearances, permits, etc may all be impacted

It sucks, you deserve better. People will say sorry but having a stain on the record limits opportunities. Most companies HR department don’t care about if it something is dropped, they only look at the charge. It’s like people who have CFAA from teen years. It’s always there....

I truly appreciate the kind words. The situation sucks, and you're spot on - instaban from most HR b/c felony arrest. Even tho it's a wrongful arrest, often won't get the chance to explain.
