Simple gestures by the supermarkets such as sourcing eggs in cardboard. Bringing back glass bottles of milk with a small deposit on. Promoting solid soap wrapped in paper instead of liquid in a pump dispenser etc. Simple reversals that worked 40 years ago would work again.

Encourage change to glass bottles, paper bags for shopping. Give folk the choice. Incentives to recycle plastic bottles is great way, be good for enterprising kids to collect them from folk.
