But they only get about 200 miles from a charge and it costs a fortune to charge them at home. Plus the pollution created in production is far worse than running a normal car for 10 years.

Range is up to 300miles per charge and it’s cheaper to charge at home than at a commercial charging station. Works out as little as 3-4p per mile. That is a huge amount less than a petrol or diesel vehicle, coupled with far lower costs for maintenance and servicing.

are you trying to say it's OK to use your car and travel miles as long as it's electric? Think you're missing the point of the "lockdown" showing a rise in car usage last week....be it electric or otherwise.
