I’m sorry, Rachel, but I disagree with you. People don’t waste what they know is precious. This stuff can’t be reused. Multiple points of contamination occur with every patient contact. You need multiple gloves for the same patient just for everyday personal hygiene care....

Then you make damn sure that they DO have exactly what they need. They're risking their lives as well as the lives of their families potentially, so absolutely they should be using the PPE that they need. Come talk to my neighbour, a nurse who lost a colleague, about "strategy".

In fact, coming out with this 24hrs after a nurse working at your constituency hospital has died is just incredible, shameful even. There's towing the party line, but this is another level. So much for parties working together, too, eh?

It's exactly the right tone. The new guidance is flawed and only in place because the government has betrayed the NHS and its staff by failing to provide proper PPE. To make matters worse Hancock has slandered NHS staff, lying that they are wasting supplies. He's a disgrace
