We are not living in normal times. We are asking people to make extraordinary sacrifices to prevent the kind of health crisis and deaths that Italy is experiencing. I am receiving a high volume of queries and my staff are working under a great deal of pressure to answer.
We are aware there are a large number of questions that people are sending through to me. The guidance is clear. Stay at home. We are not setting this guidance for people to look for ways to get around it. We are setting it to save your life, your loved ones and the NHS
There is a lot of detail to work through and we may need some time to answer all the queries. There a huge number of different scenarios, this is an unprecedented national emergency and I ask constituents to understand the pressure we are all under to comply with the guidance
And to put in place the support that has been already provided. The government has already stepped in to help to an unprecedented extent. Thank you all for playing your part to save your life and that of your community. #StayHomeSaveLives
