Hi Rachel Please can you join @worcsLEP @garywoodman @worcscc @WalkerWorcester @hbaldwin and me in pushing @CrossCountryUK to use the station for their South West service for better access to Bristol, Exeter & beyond.

Are you saying that in that expensive new purpose built station there’s nowhere to sit with a coffee out of the cold? Surely not?

In reality this is just another stop on the Cotswold line. The only north south trains calling are already overcrowded and offer nothing that Worcester doesn't already have. The true value of this station won't be realised until the long distance X-country services start calling

Sensible, nobody wants to travel from Redditch to London when you can drive to Worcestershire Parkway or International and get a direct train

Would be great if you could also push for a decent cycle route to it as well as proper secure storage for those wanting to get out of their cars... This really should have been a compulsory part of the design. @redditchrachel @worcscc @BikeWorcester
