This will be welcome news for Redditch and our town centre. Business rates will be cut by 50% for retailers with rateable value of up to 51k, following a 33% cut in 2018. Applies to retailers, cafes, hairdressers, etc, and rates are cut for local music venues and cinemas.

Also, doing away with any Government Funding to Councils - meaning our Services would be run from reduced BRates. Also we have no local music venues due to the council denying the application a few years ago. We have pubs that try their best but aren't up to scratch. We have Morton Stanley festival but no support for the rest of the year.
