Thanks for clarifying your position. You didn't mention climate change. Of 66492 eligible voters in 2010 only 23562 voted for you in 2017 (~35%). What you have done today - *attempt* to silence parliament - is undemocratic and unforgivable. I am sad and angry.

A second ref would show that Britain supports staying in the EU. A well managed citizens assembly would remove the process from parliament allowing mps time to address other pressing matters. A CA in redditch would give voices to the 20000 people who don't vote.

You were not elected to support the downfall of Parliamentary Democracy. We may disagree on the ends but when a Prime Minister takes away the means of debate by closing down the debating chamber then Democracy falls. In 1933 Adolf Hitler requested the closure of the Reichstag.
