Where is the evidence that renationalising the energy industry will affect efforts to reduce climate change? I'm genuinely intrigued as I'm for both issues.
Labour’s plans to renationalise our energy supply will hamper efforts to reduce emissions to zero, as we must. Not true about not burning coal for electricity for 2 weeks - the UK imported electricity generated from coal. Net zero is unilateral, costly and pointless. Nobel Climate Economist William Nordhaus has demonstrated that zero will cost more than modelled climate damage:pic.twitter.com/7pvhDPPwfc
