Theresa May shows huge dignity as she leaves office, and has a number of achievements to be proud of. I’ve been fortunate to have seen first hand her support for women in public life and to have worked on her policies of ending domestic abuse and tackling the gender pay gap.
Her central message is absolutely right - compromise is an honourable position and is much needed now. #Brexit is an enormous and difficult challenge. She stands for the pragmatic, moderate and modern Conservative values that led me into politics.
I’m saddened to see her go, but it is a good opportunity for us to look to the future, deliver Brexit, honour the referendum result and restore trust in our politics.
I think the measures to reduce the gender pay gap were more the Lib Dem’s idea!
Ideas are easy. Turning them into reality is hard and real work.
Domestic violence has increased under her watch. Child poverty has increased, homelessness increased & those affected by UC increased. The 'few' gained £75bn while the rest have suffered. She was dignified but did need to go. The Conservatives need to go.
You never dealt with her work at the home office I see.

Her only interest has been clinging to office, which she saw as a personal achievement, rather than a chance to serve her country. She hates most of us, and it’s more than reciprocated.
Easily the worst PM in my lifetime. Lacked compassion, lacked integrity and had all the leadership of a tree stump. She's a big reason that we're in the mess we're in now.
