Staggering hypocrisy. My 20 year scientific career is based around fighting climate change. I have been forced to engage in politics due to institutional intransigence. Now you claim you've been caring for the environment all along. And people are dumb enough to believe you.

If you really want to show you care and listen to people then organise a citizens assembly on climate change and build joint public and cross party support for a consensus on UK 50 year climate strategy plan. Put the UK and Earth ahead of your party.
