Rachel, that is not the whole of the problem is it, the UK has exported a mass of emissions since we import most of our retail sales from overseas - China - India so until the equations are corrected I would hazard a guess that UK CO2 emission are only a small % of those claimed

2/ Like UK was leading on cleaning up our household waste until China stopped our exports of recycling plastics etc. We have a policy which promotes EVs but allows those EVs to use Fossil Fuel generated electricity What happens when we get to many millions on the road

Well let's stick to facts. We need to remove co2 from the air. So planning to build new coal mines, enabling fracking and eliminating renewable energy subsidies is just retarded. You say labour are just as bad, no argument here. All the politicians have failed us.

Theresa May didn't even turn up at cross party talks on the issue. So how seriously do we suppose she takes the issue? If you have evidence and data that the conservatives are committed to eliminating emissions I want to see it. But their actions suggest not.
