Some of the responses on this tweet illustrate my point. I am not going to prolong the unpleasantness by replying to these pointless anonymous trolls. I have reported numerous posts on my social media channels, the latest being "she should be hung from Westminster Bridge"
Appalling. I am devastated to think that you (& so many other women in public life) have to go through this sort of thing on a daily basis. Thank you for your courage & your determination not to be silenced by these people.
