As I prepare return to Westminster next week I want to make it clear to my constituents that I will not be supporting any moves reported in the press to take “no deal” off the table. Anyone who has negotiated anything knows you have to hold your nerve to get the best outcome.

UK now less trusted than 18 months ago. We signed an agreement (May/ EU withdrawal) then went back on it a week later. UK stock at an all-time low overseas. Trade deals will be barter agreements; cash for visas or deregulation. The damage is done

Rubbish, UK hasn't consented to withdrawal agreement as PM hasn't got the authority to without parliament agreeing. The EU are aware of this. PM will have lost credibility but UK clearly accepts that once agreed it is binding - this is why parliament is so reluctant to do so.
