A room full of my constituents of all political persuasions and none and joined me Parliament today on my #mpbustour. Split leavers and remainers. Overwhelming majority by show of hands supported the PM’s deal. No leavers had changed their minds. Only 10% supported either No Deal

The main concern was impact on people - EU citizens in Redditch and people’s relatives who had moved to the EU. Worth reminding those who voted against the deal or who favour a No Deal, there are NO protections for our citizens in EU countries, even though we have guaranteed

The rights of EU citizens in the UK. Also worth stating that the people who voted leave were neither all old, rich, privileged, misled, or uneducated. It is my duty to honour their vote and I will continue to fight for that.

This stinks of the same problems as those pro-EU groups who tally people who want to remain or leave, whilst parading huge banners that say "Stop Brexit" and concluding that most want to remain.
