I am acutely aware that my constituents have a huge variety of opinions, from being totally against Brexit, to wishing for a hard Brexit. How can any one mortal human being please all of them. They simply can't. What there is NO majority for is No deal, either in my constituency
or in Parliament. The grown up, adult and pragmatic thing to do is accept a degree of compromise and understand that not everyone can get everything they want. That is the stance I'm taking, not out of blind loyalty to the PM, but because I believe it is in the best
interests of my constituents, it protects jobs and the economy, and delivers on the instructions from the British people to get us out of the sovereignty of the EU and regain our own sovereign nation. #BacktheBrexitdeal
It’s understandable that this is your opinion at this point. But surely stopping Brexit completely now We have seen this not so perfect deal is a sensible option instead of a deal that has no real benefit. EU membership, in comparison does have benefits for us.
The adult pragmatic thing to do is to have a peoples vote after the meaningful vote in parliament. Pushing the country down a bad path for the sake of an ill-informed vote 2 years ago is not only undemocratic, it's stupid. Now we're fully informed a peoples vote is needed,
This deal framework signs away our right to leave the EU except on terms the EU like - Irish border, fishing rights, Gibraltar..for starters. Look at the EU behaviour to date and know the detail will not be good for the UK.
