Deal been agreed. The many critics of the deal start from the assumption that they or others could have done a better job than our PM, an assertion without much credibility. The deal isn't perfect, we all know that, but we should ask ourselves "compared to what", and consider

I am acutely aware that my constituents have a huge variety of opinions, from being totally against Brexit, to wishing for a hard Brexit. How can any one mortal human being please all of them. They simply can't. What there is NO majority for is No deal, either in my constituency

or in Parliament. The grown up, adult and pragmatic thing to do is accept a degree of compromise and understand that not everyone can get everything they want. That is the stance I'm taking, not out of blind loyalty to the PM, but because I believe it is in the best

interests of my constituents, it protects jobs and the economy, and delivers on the instructions from the British people to get us out of the sovereignty of the EU and regain our own sovereign nation.

Perfectly prepared to face the electorate and I would always explain why I vote on any issue. My conscience is clear. This is not about narrow party political interest but about doing the right thing for all my constituents and the country.
