I had an Association dinner in my home last night with grassroots members and local businesswomen. Whether leavers or remainders, the message was clear, back Mrs May, don’t indulge in party squabbles and get a sensible #Brexit done. Message received and understood!

My Association Chairman also joined the PM’s call and despite expressing concerns - which of course we all have - made the point that the EU are giving concessions to allow us to stay in CU and parts of SM after Brexit, so it’s in their interest to get us out of the backstop.

We can see pressure mounting now from other EU states because UK is effectively cherry picking. Which we were told would never happen. I don’t see any credible alternative.

WTO my dear. It's what we voted for. Everybody knew EU would never improve on WTO. And you know @theresa_may is a disaster, trying to take us further under EU control, ignoring the EU2016 mandate. Have you got your no confidence letter in? You should if you want your job.

You’ve got to be joking the EU have no incentive whatsoever for us to ever Leave it’s Remain by the backdoor. Don’t you think Davis, Baker or Raab would have stayed otherwise - it’s a stitch up!

The credible alternative (bearing in mind the various law-breaking we now know about in the referendum, which meant that voters were misinformed) is for May to rescind A50 and for us to remain in the EU

There's no evidence or sense to this comment. The EU have the whole package and a seat at the table. We are still subject to the rules without any say in the matter.

Different view coming from other parts of the Country who now believe Brexit part 3,:4 or 5 are no longer viable or wanted. Let’s concentrate on staying in and improve the Eu as a full member. That is what we can do best.

Redditch voted 62% to Leave. You should honour that. It is unfair to expect the EU to bend their rules to provide us with an in/out relationship.

The credible alternative is to #Remain. The course you advocate will cost us 3.9% of our GDP and leave us without a say or a single trade deal for a decade. Or we could stay in the EU with all its benefits, frustrate Putin's Brexit and work on solving the real problems we face.
