My Association Chairman also joined the PM’s call and despite expressing concerns - which of course we all have - made the point that the EU are giving concessions to allow us to stay in CU and parts of SM after Brexit, so it’s in their interest to get us out of the backstop.

We can see pressure mounting now from other EU states because UK is effectively cherry picking. Which we were told would never happen. I don’t see any credible alternative.

That's defeatism. And majorly delusional. There is no such thing as a sensible
#brexit deal. Grow a spine please, and support#PeoplesVoteNow It is the only way to avoid the cliff, short term and long term.#StopBrexitNowThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Lucky to have you a sensible MP. As a party member, please keep supporting her. She has a lot more goodwill in the country.

I agree and that is my experience.

I've got a great plan. It's a sophisticated trade deal that also allows UK citizens to freely move around 27+ other countries. All for a tiny % of GDP that is then shared around the least wealthy areas.

That’s great but what May is proposing is not a sensible brexit. It is worse for our sovereignty than we currently have. Grow some backbone and get May out... or you’ll find that come a GE it will be YOU being chucked out.

Don’t indulge in party squabbles; sure. But to back her if you don’t agree with the deal is dereliction of the duty you have to represent your constituents. You’re backing her for political reasons (the risk of Corbyn gaining as a result) not because it’s the right thing to do.

But this deal isn’t Brexit. By backing The PMs plan you are affectively staying in a customs union in perpetuity not being able to leave unilaterally. This deal gives any cards we had left to the opposition to give us the worst deal and they have.
-
Exact. THERE IS NO SENSIBLE BREXIT.
