The only negative aspect to that (sorry to highlight) is less business rates coming in to local councils who now need this income to keep providing services which everyone expects, as central government have cut almost all funding and told councils they must use these rates.

BTW the Chancellor refused to answer a question about Business Rates Relief on Sophie Ridge today. So isn't it rather impromptu to be spreading pre budget media news and claiming it'll make a big difference.
