According to West Mercia’s own data, there were 2,071 police officers last June. This was down to 1,930 by this June. Adding 100 recruits will still mean fewer officers than last summer. Is this not disingenuous?
I very much welcome @JohnPaulCampion's decision to recruit an extra 100 police officers in West Mercia. After recently spending time on the frontline with officers in #Redditch, I know today’s announcement will be welcomed.
