That's why I welcome the additional £150m announced earlier this month to deal with the issue of homelessness. This funding includes £50m for housing outside of London, and will prioritise mental health and drug services. This is definitely a step in the right direction.

There's a lot of work going on here in Worcestershire to deal with homelessness. Councils, charities and other partners have come together to create the Worcestershire Partner Agreement. This agreement goes further than the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.

The Worcestershire Partner Agreement ensures all local partners in the County work together to identify and prevent homelessness. This goes above and beyond the legal duty set out in the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.

I want to play my part too, which is why I have signed the Worcestershire Partner Agreement. Being in a position where my constituents come to me for help in their time of need, it is absolutely right that I am signed up to the Worcestershire Partner Agreement.

I am committed to helping the Government achieve its mission of eradicating rough sleeping, and I can start by signing this agreement and working with the local council to identify and prevent homelessness.
