Staying in a refugee camp this week makes me so proud of the place I grew up.I went to school with Ugandan Indians, Iranians & Kurds. I went on to work alongside Bosnians,Rwandans, Congolese and Afghans. My kids are schooled with Syrians and Eritreans. The hand of safety extended
You’re right @jessphillips, my boys went to the same school as you in Birmingham and they’ve had a brilliant education and exposure to so many different cultures, making them true global citizens.
