Not to say past experience was bad, it was just different. Had to take aids off and meant that music sounds were very bass focused, without hearing any of the higher-pitched instrumental sounds.

It also means I don't have to take them out, put them back in, turn on and wait 4 seconds to then hear what someone is saying next to me. Trust me, you'd be surprised how much of a conversation you'd miss in those 4-5 seconds. All for waiting those aids to turn on.

THIS! I hate when I'm out of house, listening to music and a stranger starts speaking to me. I have to be like, just give me 30 secs to hear again.

It's amazing how much of a gap there is!! By then, some of the conversational points have finished
