Not to say past experience was bad, it was just different. Had to take aids off and meant that music sounds were very bass focused, without hearing any of the higher-pitched instrumental sounds.

It also means I don't have to take them out, put them back in, turn on and wait 4 seconds to then hear what someone is saying next to me. Trust me, you'd be surprised how much of a conversation you'd miss in those 4-5 seconds. All for waiting those aids to turn on.

How's that work then with higher freq sounds? One of my ears has gone to pot and also based focused, voices aren't tangible without my 'good' ear helping out, it's bizarre because my good ear is not as bassy as the bad ear, like I made my own headphones out of two shitty pairs.

And by that, I mean, do higher pitched sounds come through as audioable as lower frequency sounds, or is it magic and you can hear higher pitched sounds again?
