Mental health question here. Does anyone have any advice about how to balance your health when reading news? I want to keep up with what's going on, but it's feeling more and more like whiplash every time I read something about covid, our gov or anything else. 
I try to take space away from it, but at the same time I also feel a need to keep informed when it changes almost every day.

Definitely make use of the “My News” feature on the bbc news app for things that both matter to you and won’t affect your mood so much, and adjust as necessary.
