The worst thing is what happened when I was made redundant. Not even 48 hours later, a rumour was spread that I went crazy and retaliated against former colleagues. Why? Because apparently I removed this person as a friend on FB, despite never being friends to begin with.

After my first industry job, being made redundant and desperately trying to find somewhere new and still dealing with the shock, I was made out to be this crazy person because of someone's insecurities. He was still in the studio so he was able to convince higher ups.

It's not as bad as what's being told currently and thankfully it all resolved in the end by going to the Christmas party to say goodbyes, but I refuse to be treated like that, should I be in that situation again, both throughout work and after. Especially over something so petty

There was also a continuation of other stuff when I was made redundant that were also petty, so thankfully I never have to work with him again since he's no longer in the industry. But it shouldn't stop there, the industry needs to be better.

I once had a manager with a vendetta against me put me on performance review and tell me I could lose my job if I didnt obey him, when I eventually went to HR about him being a bully they said he was saying BS and didnt understand why I was on a review

Oh geez. It's good to know that what power he had was clearly only in his head, so it wasn't something anyone could see and needed convincing of. But what an asshole..
