I used to go to Slimming World when we worked at Stainless and I do not ever want to go there again. They don't think about your mental health and even publicly announce/shame your weight. There's no long lasting tips and the weight... surprisingly... quickly returned!pic.twitter.com/Ch128EBAkb
Sounds like you had an awful, unprofessional coordinator. They should never 'shame know anyone and always focus on a body positive message. That's been mine and Steph's experience over the last few months.
I think its a bit hit or miss who you end up with. One of the Slimming World co-ordinators around here told us that one of her tricks is "not using white sauce for lasagne but blending up macaroni cheese and using that instead" 
We have a great coordinator that focuses on personal solutions and not invalidating the difficultly of weight loss.
