I find that one of the biggest misunderstandings about game development is the expectations around the word 'prototype', so I was wondering: what do your (failed or successful) game/system prototypes look like? Got any stories or screenshots you can share, or maybe even video?

I’ll find you one. This is a great topic. In my experience people often say “I want it now” but when they see a proto they often go “I’m not impressed”. Well sure: the point is to validate assumptions/features, not have stunning art or VFX.
