Misinformation about pediatric transition can have serious consequences. Today, I've been keeping track of protests at clinics that treat trans youth. Some of these protesters are parents of trans kids who believe in ROGD.

The "concerns" about trans youth have escalated in some quarters into the realm of conspiracy theories. People have taken this idea that most trans kids desist/turn out to be gay and come up w/ the idea that there's a plot to sterilize/normalize gay youth by transitioning them.

These theories didn't come from nowhere, they built up over time and represent a fringe to be sure. But they could end up having very dangerous consequences. There are now protesters trying to shut down clinics and pushing for anti-trans conversion therapy.

As someone who was subjected to pharmacological conversion therapy by gender criticals I can attest that they have already had dangerous consequences. The ROGD cult doesn't actually care about children. If concern was genuine they wouldn't have fed me drugs more dangerous than PB
