I'm not sure how it works exactly but I got worried because I come up against paywalls on Medium all the time when I'm trying to read stuff. Maybe I'm mistaken. In any case making my work accessible is important to me.

It's when you hit the publish button, there's a "submit this for curated content" or something like that, and that makes it paywalled.

I've been stopped from reading articles on there where I don't think the author intentionally paywalled it. Like random people's blog posts and stuff. And I'll get a message that I've reached my limit on free articles for the month.

Eww. I do hate the 3 articles a month thing, it really sucks.
