I saw what they were doing as harmful to the interests of detrans people, LGBT people and women. So I spoke up, named the harm I saw being done and let it be known that these people were using my material without my consent. I did what I could to resist the co-optation.
I know there are still detrans people who oppose any alliance with the Right and who would feel violated and offended if right-wingers used their work. But other don't seem to mind and some are even willing to work with the Right. This troubles me greatly.
