I'm seeing the whole "superstraight" etc thing catch on in parts of GC twitter and Ovarit now too. That's very bad sign in terms of indicating how the far-right could influence transphobes. GCs are taking this up so uncritically. Do not want to see where this could go.

I don't want people disseminating any of the hateful content on those sites but I do want to provide proof that the "superstraight" people are trying to court GCs and it's working. That's what's concerning. The people on ovarit are just eating it up.

Unfortunately we are forced to watch. But in good news it makes them look unhinged to new areas of people. We have to call them out and humiliate them in front of neutral people so they know their 'reasonable' are thinly veiled garbage

Yeah, I think the turn to more extreme views will end up alienating a lot of people but I'm worried about what some of these extreme anti-trans people could get up to, especially if they keep moving right-wards.

I'm increasingly of the mind that the GC movement is already gone tbh. There's no shaming them into turning their backs on far right politics they're already there.

I know where it's going and I've said it before. Red-brown alliance. Socialist radfems working side-by-side with fascist misogynists to crush transgender rights. They're so convinced 'gender ideology' poses an existential threat to women's rights that they'll do ANYTHING now.

Not surprised, GCs have always been on the right-wing side, it was a matter of time. While this is dangerous and means they'll be more extreme (I'm honestly expecting violence in the future) we could use to our advantage and get people to see who they really are.
