Hanging out with transphobic feminists as a detrans woman was such a mindfuck because a lot of them didn't actually see me as a woman. They said they did but they treated me and other detrans women like we were in a different category than they put themselves in.

I'm sorry people mistreated you like this. I'm sure this was difficult to share, so thank you for sharing. If I may ask, how did you find a group like this? Strictly online? I'm having trouble conceiving a group like this irl but I personally don't know any rad fems.

I met rad fems and detrans women online at first but eventually met up with people in real life, went to gatherings, etc. The first detrans woman I met online ended up creating a lot of the first online spaces for rad fem detrans women.

There were rad fem detrans women blogging when I first started looking into this stuff but no spaces yet. This detrans woman helped create private online spaces and and forums and eventually organized in person meet-ups and gatherings for detrans women.

I intend to write about this more in depth eventually. I happened to be there at the start of the rad fem detrans women's community and watched it come together and get organized.

Wow, I'm sure you have a lot of insight to share on these kind of spaces then. Thank you for obliging my question. I hope you do write a book!

No prob. I'm considering writing a book at some point. Probably be a while in the future though, since I've still got a lot to process.
