The funny thing to me about these arguments is how people never realize that categories like "mushroom" were invented by people and do not usually fit neatly onto nature.

Seems like a good argument against GC people telling trans people that being trans isn't a real thing lol The argument I make is "I dunno what it feels like to be a woman either, nor do I care, I feel like me and transition demonstrably made my life better"

I've never had any "gender feelings" but I believe cis and trans people who say that they do and those feelings are central to their identities. I obviously don't think gender feelings are essential to being trans since clearly I'm trans and I don't experience them.
